SA - II

The BIG .........

Headache, Problem, Trouble, Challenge, Wow, Time to showcase my skills, Opportunity to earn a good name, etc.

Fill in the blanks with whatever you want kids! According to me (What is so great about you ? - My CONSCIENCE), if one prepares well in advance, investing some time for studies, I (EGO!) think all of us can sail smoothly through the tsunami of questions shot at us during examinations. :-))

So, the question is, what is your level of concentration? What is the time frame within which you can rote (what has to be!) the answers or understand first (I've discussed this in one of the earlier posts) and write it in your own words?

Allot that much time everyday for at least three subjects. As we all know the 8th graders have 6 subjects, so 6 / 2 gives 3 per day. You can tackle languages one day and the other serious subjects or mix and match as you feel. But always remember take it slow (SLOW & STEADY WINS THE RACE! Remember Hare & Tortoise) and work gradually. If you (Again my ego's humble ?! opinion) try gulping everything in one go, like a week or 10 days before exams, it would be disastrous, as it gets uploaded only in the short term memory and won't give any long term benefits.

Sorry, if I ruffled some feathers by mentioning that, because some guys in the family zone have done last minute learning and went on to become successful in their chosen fields. But, not all of us are that LUCKY! We go through the audio - visual - practice kind of learning. So please know your plusses and minuses and do accordingly.

ENOUGH OF ADVICE! I learnt that SA-II is from 15th of September, which falls on a Monday. So we have near about 40 days with us to prepare and since August is a month of holidays (HOORAY!) we can do lots!

I will try helping you all within this time frame as much as possible. PLEASE, leave your comments in the space provided for that below the posts, which would act as an invaluable feedback in helping me learn, how to help you all !

T.A.C.
